TwitSnaps.com is an application that allows you to share photos and videos over Twitter. It's a wonderful tool to actually “play” around with your photographs. Users can crop, filter, magnify, or add a watermark to their pictures. The “Hall of Fame” segment shows the most popular photographs shared on TwitSnaps.

Users can share photographs on TwitSnaps using their mobile phone. They can MMS their photographs or use the site's mobile application. TwitSnaps also has its own mobile website.

The videos section is quite extensive with features such as tagging, categorizing, commenting, rating, and embedding. Users can also favorite the videos they like. Twitsnaps also allows conversion of videos into mobile clips and download it for free.

The application has become very popular on Twitter. Its users include many celebrities. Within a very short period of time, TwitSnaps gained an Alexa ranking of less 35,000. The site received more than 1 million page views in less than 100 days of its launch.

TwitSnaps is also the only photoshare application on Twitter that hosts photo contests. Lots of cash and other prizes have already been given to the winners of these contests.

An I-phone application is also being developed for TwitSnaps. The project is an incubation of MapXL Inc, our US business unit.
