Simarprit Singh is the founder and CEO of Compare Infobase Limited. He has a B.Com degree in Statistics and a Post-graduate diploma in Computer Applications. Simar, as he’s popularly known, began his career as a Research Associate at NIIT. He left to become an entrepreneur and set up DISC (Information Technology) Pvt. Ltd. While at DISC, he made a presentation to the United Nations on Information Technologies and Developing Countries. He later served as the VP of Business Development at Nucleus Software, prior to his return to entrepreneurship at Compare Infobase. In 1998, Compare Infobase was born. From then on, he’s been instrumental in growing Compare Infobase as a leading web design and web development company.
Harmeen Kaur, Director Creative
An honours graduate from Delhi University, Harmeen Kaur is the Director Creative at Compare Infobase. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Fine Arts and Textile Designing. Besides that, she’s also a qualified glass painter and has charted a strong identity for herself within the community of glass painters. As Director Creative, she has spearheaded various assignments for the company in the creative space. Her rich expertise and talent have also helped in establishing www.dgreetings.com, a website offering a large collection of free digital and virtual greeting cards for all occasions.
Sharad Poddar, Director Finance
Sharad Poddar, Director Finance, brings over 15 years of experience in the field of audit, tax and consultancy to Compare Infobase. He was associated with International clients in setting up the Information and Technology system for MIS reports before joining Compare Infobase. He has also specialized in corporate governance and risk management.
He provides consultancy to the IT sector in opening of subsidiaries and branch offices abroad, dealing with RBI and establishing various STP and EOU units.
Kapil Puri, Director
Kapil Puri is a B.E in Computer Sciences from Mumbai University and has been involved with the Telecommunications industry since 1988. He began his career with Bhawani Telecommunications and was appointed the Director of Cable TV services for Sri Bhawani Cabletel Limited in 1994. In 1997 he conceptualized Spanco Telesystems Limited, where he holds the post of the Chairman.
Sunil Chopra, Director
Sunil Chopra also holds the post of Chief Executive Officer at Super General Trading Company in Dubai, a division of the Bhatia Brothers Group of Companies, UAE. The company deals in consumer electronics products and also has a branch office in Singapore.
